We know you love IH, but where do you think we can improve?

I believe @RoxRocks86 new IHSH-62 is a ladies cut. Looks like a slimmer waist on it but then again I think the 62 has more taper than many IH shirts.
In my personal collection, the only shirt more tapered than my 62's is my IHSH-76

Yep, womens cuts are remodelled.
We have a few here we could send Maddy to try….
We'll get on that after our vacation!
If there are ladies cut UHF's, she'll be a repeat customer surely. She owns an IHSH-131-BB, and has adopted my IHSH-101-MC which has shrunken too small to me, and she wants MORE…
Btw, she says navy X red would be a good flannel colorway, as well as navy X black.

^^^that’s great news! Will IHUK be stocking women sizes?
As far as I can tell, you guys are correct. The 62 does have more taper compared to other westerns. Ladies small fits similar to xs just smaller. Still has that somewhat boxiness to it and long sleeves.
& yes, more options for the ladies sizing wise would be great. Understand that IH is more towards a burly male demographic, but us women want our IH goodies too.

I concur. I have the Filson cascade shirt below and it’s my favorite colorway. I’m sure IH could come up with their own variant that is similar but in uhf form [emoji106]

I agree about the westerns, just about perfect. If you need a shirt with a ton of taper, Flathead is [emoji108][emoji108][emoji108][emoji108]
arms are just too short for me. really only IH works because of the variability in sizing and top notch service means they actually look though for one with long enough arms.
my post got moved from IH racing, so i think is out of context. i thought the purpose of that thread i thought was seeking comment on a new line aimed at a younger consumer, hence the more tapered comments. i guess it stands as a general comment too although seems a little harsh. the proof of the pudding is in the eating though, i love my IH shirts and more are currently winging their way to me!

Some great ideas being thrown around. But, before all else, I'd still love to see this black/red beauty finally make it to production…..
Preferably in workshirt. But, I'd definitely grab the western, if the only option.

Whoops, my bad. It seemed like a general comment about IH and that others also read it that way. It’s not clear yet whether IH Racing will do shirts which may also have confused me. I’ll let it all stand here now as clarity has been achieved. My apologies.

While we are on shirts, I've come to realise and accept that the variation in sizing and cut between the same size (say xl) is a good thing. I might not always find the exact right fit in a particular style, but I WILL generally find a perfect fit in more than one style I love. I understand the reason for the longer sleeve length, but sometimes wish they could be an inch shorter in some models. The cost of making limited runs for the European market such as the flat head do would be too expensive.
One change I would welcome is a slightly wider/lower arm hole in most shirts and jackets. They often cut into my arm pit and I e heard others have a similar issue. I'd have thought that a greater taper from shoulder to elbow could address that issue (same as knee to hem tapers on jeans).
It's never a deal breaker, but it would be welcome. I'm sure there must be a design or production reason that makes it more difficult than I presume?

In seasonal releases, only if asked…

I personally like the arm holes the way they are. If the arm holes were larger the shirts would sag a lot, especially in light of the fantastic materials IH used.
-
Yeah, I’d hate to see lower arm holes as well. Lower arm holes mean baggier upper arms, which IMHO is not a good look. If anything, I’d say higher arm holes, but I realize IH has to find the right middle ground.
You have that issue even with the westerns? I can agree that certain workshirts can be boxier but Westerns have always been a great cut for me.
Same here. I’d like a little more taper myself, but then you start limiting who can wear the shirts. One thing I’ve noticed that might help is if there’s some way to lessen the bulkiness in the lower back a bit. I know less than nothing about clothing design, but if there was a way (other than darts) to adjust the pattern so there was a little less bulk in the lower back, that would give the westerns a cleaner look both tucked and untucked.

I’d like a small loop inside jackets collars to hang them on hooks….
+1 for sure.
Yes! And work shirts! I was pretty surprised to find my IH work shirt didn't have a little hanging loop. It's kinda hassle having to balance the collar carefully on a peg.

Yep always bugs me when I go to hang up a shacket or jacket.
