Oh you. Yeah you’re right. Crap.

We aren't going to discuss why people were banned. As sabergirl pointed out, it's rude, and I don't think it does anything positive for the overall forum vibe.
-
Yeah^ read above. That’s why I said she was right. But correct me if I’m wrong you said he didn’t contribute to the forum.
No. Really not.

Ok. I like a good row. I will stop. I guess sarcasm

Looks like Target is getting in on the selvedge craze: https://www.target.com/p/men-s-slim-straight-fit-selvedge-denim-rigid-jeans-goodfellow-co-153-indigo/-/A-52512065
Reviews are amusing too

people giving negative reviews like "why would anyone want a button fly" or "my husband really didn't like the button fly"
and i'm sitting here like "why tf would anyone want a zipper fly?"
-
Agreed, button fly >>> zipper fly
-
The fewer moving parts a thing has, all the better as far as I'm concerned. I'd have buttons on everything (well, things that warrant them obviously). That said, There's something about Mary would be the same film.

How’d you get the beans above the frank?!

I still can NOT get the bottom button of the 888xhsib buttoned.
I don’t know if it’s because the 888 cut has an extra button or what but this is some tough denim! I haven’t used any tricks or dowels or pliers because I’m not a cheater…. but I’m tempted.

Sincere apologies for the post. Hindsight 20/20.

Apparently women's jean pockets are a political statement, or something.
-
I started wearing men's pants when I was a kid, for this very reason. Not necessarily because of the political stuff–but for the pockets. As I grew taller (and taller still) men's pants became a necessity for inseam. I'm really glad I've never had to deal with a lack of pockets, though--that would drive me insane. I have one pair of women's skinny jeans that I NEVER wear because I can't put anything in the hip pockets.
Anyway, I'm not sure "politics" is the right category to put this disparity in. It's definitely patriarchal, though--and I truthfully don't see how it would detract from the aesthetics of women's pants to have functional pockets.

It's clearly a conspiracy by the gyno-industrial complex to sell purses and to force men to carry women's gear.
But seriously, women's fashion standards are not built around comfort. Things like high heels just seem like straight up torture to wear.
