Thanks gents! I've honestly just wore them NFG. The thighs being oil stained were the reason I went sashiko on the repairs. They're still a work in progress as far as I'm concerned

I don’t track washes or wears or do anything special to preserve or facilitate fades. I think they’ve been washed 4 times total. Washed inside out cold, line dried right side out, then usually air tumble with no heat in drier.

In my experience, the stress of getting jeans right-side out while still wet can create undesirable (if usually temporary) fade patterns in the indigo. I let mine hang dry and then get them back right-side out. FWIW, YMMV, etc

As someone who owns one myself, I know how much of a pain the break in of this one can be but you're doing awesome so far :o
