It's been more than 2 years since I bleached it… The bleaching DEFINITELY weakened the fabric; it was just a matter of time.

Thanks gents! I've honestly just wore them NFG. The thighs being oil stained were the reason I went sashiko on the repairs. They're still a work in progress as far as I'm concerned

I don’t track washes or wears or do anything special to preserve or facilitate fades. I think they’ve been washed 4 times total. Washed inside out cold, line dried right side out, then usually air tumble with no heat in drier.
