Never is, always sewn up and then overdyed

The polycotton constructional thread does not take the dye like pure cotton thread does, hence the contrast

Not sure if this is what you mean, but IH always (or nearly always) uses polycotton thread.

I was referring to the way the 33 OD thread didn’t take up the black Dye in the same manner as some ofthe other OD garments.
