Despite awful label design and being from an entirely unknown Polish brewery, this was fekkin nice.

This was one of those BrewDog let downs that are all too common.

Not a fan of sickly sweet stouts that veer a bit too closely to the sickly side of things? Might have worked better with a lighter touch on the Maple.

                Tonight:

More experimental sour. Pineapple, lime and coconut go very well :), maybe a touch more coconut and a tad less lime on reflection.

So I've been having all these high-rated US IPAs, and every time I mix in a Verdant, I like it (a lot) more…

Conclusion: €nglish IPAs > US IPAs.

                              Today's line up
Weyerbacher Funky Monks a Belgian style sour ale weighing in at 9.3% but drinks like a 5%. Superb

Short's 13irteen a dry hopped American sour with Black Currant. A really complex brew. A sour with hop bitterness on the tip of the tongue and a slight heat as it warms.

Brewery Vivant Zaison an Impy Saison with Orange Peel and Black Peppercorn. Mild sweet heat is the best way to describe this. This brew is dangerous on a hot day, as it's quite crushable

Bourbon: because living in Kentucky just makes you want to drink
