I ended up airing this with Hot Ingrid yesterday evening. A trip to the US, even just to NYC, would need to be sans kids and at least five days. My smallest one is still a bit too small to be left that long so it’ll be next spring at earliest for my part. The wife was keen though [emoji1417]

Not strictly today, but Saturday evening in Birmingham UK. An evening with the legend that is Toni Iommi…I wanted to ask him if he thinks we would still have arrived at metal music if he hadn't lost 2 fingers. Instead some twat got to ask him if he'd ever do an album with Brian May...what, and ruin Toni's credibility??

Yesterday we went down to Portland to choose stone for the floor of the new kitchen.

At a quarry a mile or so from here, the stone from St Pauls Cathedral was quarried.  The crane in this photo is how they would load the barges…

Didn't do much yesterday aside from catching the England-Belgium match at a local chippy (congrats to a certain porcine colleague) and some preparation for yard work this weekend and vacation after. Took the beast along for the ride.

Starting my first work from home gig today, then laying and tamping the first half of a couple tons of gravel over the weekend, then off to Mexico.

I've always done some measure of work from home, even in my last gig with a 15 minute commute, but having no local physical plant aside from a home office is new to me. I think it will be nice.
