I've lived in AZ my whole life but to this day I will drive in parts of the state and be awed by the beauty.  Not trying to sound too deep or trippy but parts of the state almost have an alien type of atmosphere…you almost feel like you could be on another planet.

I can completely understand. I’m from MI and while it’s gorgeous, we definitely don’t have these views. My father-in-law and I took turns driving so one could drive and one could look at the scenery

I ordered the only things on the menu with pictures, as it was all in Kanji and got served a raw jellyfish salad and half a pig's worth of pork to BBQ on my own much to the amusement of the restaurant full of locals!

It is indeed very tasty and a popular dish in southern Japan, but available anywhere in the country. Likewise, takoyaki is also pretty good.
