                        I Ask because the lefty OD i copped seems longer in the body. Thought it might have been wAshed but biw that i think of it The OD takes all the shrink out.

                                  I've been wearing  every day it needed a wash after the first week but I had to see how it held up. I'll line dry it

                                      The light in the background of the bottom photo is from the arcing of electrodes in the liquid steel.  The electrodes send spidery arcs across the surface of the steel  eerie and beautiful. At the center of the arc the temp is said to reach 10,000F. Since any measuring device would be vaporized I  don't know how they arrive at this number. The crane  at the furnace is waiting to tap.

                                        Furnace tap. The furnace operator is leaning over the railing at center. I'd put an arrow but I lack computer skills. Tap temperature is about 3,000F. They can accurately measure that temp. Liquid weight is about 175 tons. Total weight about 275 tons.
