Are they cheese fries?

I'm eating lunch at Freddy's (better than In n Out), and a woman at a nearby table is eating her french fries with a knife and fork. I find this deeply disturbing.
Freddy's is good but their fries have always annoyed me and I think I can understand why this woman is eating them with a fork. They are incredibly thin french fries, annoyingly thin…like long, skinny shoe strings. I need to eat about ten at a time to feel like I'm eating french fries.

Yep, I do the same. They are super long and skinny, but when they're fresh and you dump some extra fry spice on them, they are totally worth the slight inconvenience.

Haven't seen this thread in a bit, but congrats @Matty123 , and @Megatron1505 .

So I've got a 38" ultra wide monitor I normally use with my 13" laptop. I've got various layers of windows open, with various sites and browsers. I had been looking at Haraki's blog a couple of days before and the Chrome browser was hidden as I did my work stuff. Anyway, I unplug my laptop to do work in another room and when I open it, I see the following picture (with no context) on about 70% of my screen:
I thought it was a torture/scalping video screen grab until I scrolled down to see Tom smiling during a 'fun' hair trim.

Took my boy for his annual check up at the doctor's office and discovered he's got pneumonia. Now he's gotta take amoxicillin for 10 days. Good thing I scheduled him for this visit because I thought it was a mild case of the flu due to his cough.

@der:
You are a good father. I am stupidly suspicious of doctors, ALL of them, and yet I remind myself to be human when I read stories such as yours.
Believe me, this was purely coincidental
My son likes to tell me that he hates me sometimes but this is usually when he doesn't get what he wants, or when I turn into the drill sergeant dad and tell him to do a good job brushing his teeth or wiping his ass.

Strange weather we're having on the east coast.

Brilliant:
A Japanese rail company has apologised after a train left a station 25 seconds early, the second such case in months.
-
Outrageous. Where will it end?

I'm running a relay race across half of Utah in two weeks. I'm raising money for cancer research. If anyone would like to donate the link is below. 100% goes to cancer research. Any amount helps. Cheers!
