^^ i've seen these before and thought it might be a sample pair for a older pronto collab. That crooked beltloop looks wonky (although that kind of crooked middle loop was also used in the past for a IH and DC4 collab model!) but the denim itself, thick leather patch and the stitching all look pretty solid. Even the rivets are branded "works inc" …

That is not IH denim.  It almost looks like the 14oz if you squint, but it's definitely not the 21oz.  Also, the patch doesn't look thick, at all–looks flimsy and papery.  The arc stitching is also super-suspect.

I didn't bother to ask what brand these are (something Colombian) because he doesn't speak English and mí Espanol es muy pocito.
But here is a knock off IH arc on a pair of Colombian jeans.

I'm ashamed to report that I was blinded by a (perceived) good deal on eBay and purchased some fake IH.  I've already requested and been granted a return, but the seller still claims they're authentic.  I know with 100% confidence they're fake, but I thought it'd be helpful to post an album showing otherwise.

Here's a list of details that are wrong: (I'm probably missing many other details)

• Fabric is not 21 oz, as advertised
• Constructional thread is the wrong color.  It should be tan, not green.
• Buttons and rivets are not correct.
• Back pockets do not have hidden rivets
• Inseam does not have double chainstitch
• Belt loops are not tucked into the waistband
• Non-selvedge fly
• Chainstitch around the upper part of the waistband.  IH uses a lock-stitch around the top and a chainstitch around the bottom
• Does not have "The Works" tag on the inside of the waistband
• The "W" on the back pocket is not stitched the same
• The leather tag is not the correct thickness
• Shitty quality

I'd say they're on par with department store jeans.  I'm a little surprised they're actually selvedge, though.
