As promised, a 30 day update on the sample pair of 777-142 with the new 14oz double twist selvedge fabric.

They have probably about 20 days of wear in them, and I absolutely love them.

They have stretched, but not astronomically:

new -> 20 wears stretch
Waist: 37-> 38.25
Front Rise: 11.25->11.25
Back Rise: 15 -> 15.75
Thigh: 13.335 -> 13.75
Knee: 9.25 -> 9.5

This is glorious! How heavy is it compared to the J-54? Also, is it in fact black or just really dark brown?

Any details like 2 way zippers? Lined with anything?

It's a lighter weight and much more supple leather.  It is called dark brown but looks black until you put it next to black, then you see the difference.  We will sell the dark brown as standard, but offer the black as an option.

It's got the IH 2-way zipper in it and is lined in dark brown twill as standard…..

It is called work jacket. Does that mean it won't be tapered? Because it looks tapered in the pics…

I call it a work jacket as it is fairly plain and simple and not particularly motorbike specific…..
