How breathable are these? Or rather, are they wearable in the hot summer? Can't stand T-shirts anymore, need something to replace them.

Have a look at the chambrays, linen/linen blends or 7oz denim shirts. 12oz denim in summer heat is a little too much I would say.

Yep, this shirt is quite a beast with its 12 oz, definitely too warm during hot summer days.
