@Signal11 cheers buddy. The IHSH-70 has a nice colourway for Spring, but Spring in northern Norway being what it is, I need a bit of insulation too (and when I say a bit I obviously mean half a large sheep ::) )

By the way we would call what you have in the second pic „boots and utes“ (boots and utilities). This would be worn for physical training (PT) or field days (scrubbing hooch and shitters).

I am familiar with the activities you describe and the appropriate clothing, as I served for 7 years in the RAF where I'd often find myself in combat boots and DPM camo trousers and jacket. However most of the time I was in a "grow bag" flying suit.

It’s a pen from Karas Pen. I carry a knife most days. It’s handy to cut apples and in general. I don’t know that it’s normal, but it’s not abnormal. I don’t even want to think about how many coworkers carry guns.
