excellent jeans! confuses only one - low Rear Rise.

Yeah, you definitely have to get used to the low back rise. I felt like everybody could see my butt-crack everytime I sat down or went to my knees (I had two very young children back when I bought it).

The classic issue with low rise jeans. Still, visible underwear I find more objectionable than some plumbers crack.

I agree, bootcut jeans will always be the coolest (and most comfortable).
I'm hoping for a restock in sz30. Also wondering if sz29 will fit me. My jeans are usually size 29-32. I have apc hipsters which are low rise slightly flared bootcut in sz29 (i also have a pair in sz30 which are way too large). Since their, and some other brands sz29 bootcuts fit much larger (due to the cut and how their worn), where i would fit 30-32 in different cuts same brand, could I fit sz29 461/461s… Although my size 30 666sod are way too small now but they are a super slim bootcut. I also have a pair of IH-801 Duck Logger Pant sz31 which are a little too roomy

Thought I would post these for posterity.  I've had these since 2008.  I bought them from Giles just before he went on a trip to Japan and I asked, well, since you're over there, can you have these hemmed in Japan?  He got it done on his trip!  So, that's a pretty unique thing about this particular pair.  Also, these have silver rivets including a silver crotch rivet back when they did that.

I've had them patched and repaired once, at Self Edge New York.

I actually took the time to take photos of it a couple times over the years.
