I would argue that Juventus are more of an aging side than Bayern and it's showing. If I were Liverpool I would definitely want to face Juventus over Bayern. Alaba and Kimmich at LB and RB would be a challenge for the flying front three of Liverpool going down the wings, then you've got probably the best CB/CB/GK combo in the game right now with Hummels/Boateng/Neuer. Munich will be tough.
As much as it pains me to say it I am glad that an English team are back with the big boys of Europe and I hope they get to the final, it's just a real shame that it's Liverpool!

Same. I will be rooting for Liverpool no doubt.

Juventus is making this interesting.

Is this really happenening?

Surely this has to be a joke. 2 teams well beaten in the first leg, unbelievable. Must be an Italian fighting spirit. What are the odds, they were 2 Italian teams

Wow…Buffon red card in stoppage time...Ronaldo scores the PK to win it...damn must have been a great game. I'll need to check the highlights.
-
I feel bad for Juve.. they must’ve fought really hard
-
To come that close then throw it all away with a red card and PK at the very end…gut wrenching.
-
On a kind of cool note…we now have a German, English, Italian, and Spanish side left.
-
From what I've gathered so far…the penalty was quite a controversial one. Go figure.
-
nah. i've seen the highlights now and i feel that it's a soft one to give away. anywhere outside the penalty area, sure go for it. but in the box, it has to be more defined..
-
All in all I think it was a fair result cause honestly I'm not sure Isco was offsides on his disallowed goal. After watching the highlights several times I think it was a penalty although I think giving Buffon a red card was uncalled for. The ref looked scared shitless with Buffon up in his face, like a deer in headlights and I think it was a knee jerk reaction to red card him.

Btw, unsung hero in that final play….Toni Kroos. That pass was delivered with pinpoint accuracy to Ronaldo with the calm, composed, efficient, ice in the veins disposition that ze Germans are known for.

A chest height challenge from behind, in the box, where the challenging player failed to make contact with the ball cannot be described as a soft penalty
And I am speaking as somebody who thoroughly dislikes both Real Madrid and Ronaldo, and has always had a soft spot for Juve.

It looks to me as if he did make contact with the ball though….still hard to say. At the end of the day I think the ref made the right call. He almost had to make that call. If he didn't and Juve ends up winning that game???? Man...he would have needed a police escort out of the stadium.
