^ I love me some raisins in a beer. I also love me a well executed rye beer and this is tasty AF (as the kids say):

Thanks for that @Jett129 weird story.

Speaking of crazy Danes, I drank To Øl’s Long Table beer (9%abv) yesterday. It was prompted by a conversation with a guy from the local monopoly who is also part of my wife’s extended family. He’d a wine guy but drinks some beer too. We were talking about how 750ml bottles just din’t sell, mostly because the beer drinkers in town are guys drinking on their own and 330ml is a good «sampling» size. 750ml is more of a sharing bottle. For my part opening a bottle, finding it’d crap and having to lash over half a litre of it isn’t very attractive an idea idea either.

It’s not hard to understand but it does mean people are missing out on some good beer as it is very rare that we get beers in two sizes (the only example that springs to mind in Tilquin).

Anyway, I chanced my arm on this and it is rather bloody lovely.

I prefer not to share beers. With one of these, you can keep a beer fresh and carbonated for days.

The other problem with the 750ml bottles is that even with a good one there’s the fact that it can get boring.

If those gizmos work I need to get me a couple.

Ah, BrewDog. You never know if it’s going to be mundane bollocks or glorious. This one is happily the latter. Easter marks the nominal arrival of spring for me (it’s -5C and snowing but at least it’s light all day now), and that means a move away from stout and porter. So to celebrate I opened this Imperial Saison. It’s really rather good.

Buddy hooked me up with a few Modern Times beers, had this one last night.
Pretty amazing, so light and flavorful. Doesn't drink close to 7% at all. Wish I could get drink all the time.
I'll be drinking the other ones soon, they're more limited releases so glad I got a regular release beer from them to try first.

@Sage954 - have you tried the triple barrel from Epic? That one hit a lot of spots for me.
@neph93 - great point, it is saison season, great time of year. Maybe even a bock or two too.
@broak - Love me some hazy mosaics, solid friend you got there. Modern Times is supposed to make some great stuff.
