Just wrote the Schuhgott guys…I have four pairs that Need to be resoled badly. It's a lot of cost at once, but if it prolonges the life of my boots it saves money in the long run, right?

I have one Iron Ranger, two Beckmanns and my favorites, the White's Oxfords, that need a resole.

I had good experiences with Lipper Schusterbub as well, but must say that the last instagram photos pushed me over the edge. Plus, the boots are almost unwearable now (walking on the lether midsole), so I'll take the plunge. Maybe not all boots at once if they're too expensive.

Thank you - I know them, contacted them a few times but they didn't reply. Too bad, as I was quite fond of the work when I saw them.

I have just had my Viberg 4 Horseman buffalo leather boots resoled.

I used Shoehealer in Doncaster UK again.  They had previously done a re-heel on the boots.  I fancied a change and they had a pair of white Gloxi cut soles in stock.  I had been considering this type of sole so the fact it was in stock made my mind up.  I think they will look better with some wear as the brightness of the white sole gets muted down a bit.  I know these types of soles are often debated on here, I just fancied a change.

From the pictures the work I think looks pretty good.  I am away from home for a few weeks so won't get chance for a full inspection of them till the end of the month.

Now just need someone to recommend where I can get some quality flat waxed laces, 120-130cm long?

There is no 'I' in team …............ however there are five in 'individual brilliance'.

Not knowing a thing about the previous life of my Vibergs I decided to treat them today with the product shown in the picture. Really happy with the finish  🙂

@ddtrash your Viberg resole looks great. I was not a fan of those soles however, they look superb on your boots. I think I am having a change of heart when it comes to Gloxi soles

How often do you use this(bee oil and seal)?
From the classic shoes experience i am trying to avoid everything containing silicone.

Regular removal of dust, dirt and grime is the best care you can give them.
