Brisk walk in the 36F, crystal blue sky, sunny day! Started the walk with my hands tucked in the N-1 ended with it slung over my shoulder! That is the Ballard neighbourhood of Seattle with the Olympic mountain range in the distance…
A typical snow pack for this time of year.

@Dishelveled Thank you for the pictures of Ballard! It’s my favourite community in Seattle and I love the view from Sunset Hill.

Awesome, Goose! I love this area too–super quiet and chill, but way close to epic beer, coffee and food (let alone salt water, Green Lake, BlueOwl and <15mins to downtown/Division Road!). Never seen this dead end view point on Phinney Ridge before--aprox 58th and 1st NW, not far from the zoo.

@Dishelveled You have 2 the same photo showing twice above, the "snow pack" one is missing…...

@Dishelveled I also loved Fremont and it’s troll.

Goose, the bridge troll makes an excellent mascot! Really like funky street art vs polished statues. You have family/friends in the area?

No family, just job prospects that didn't work out. It was/is a dream to live there! We spent two weeks there on separate occasions exploring the area. We looked everywhere for housing and fell in love with Ballard, Fremont, Phinney (Green Lake). it really let us see parts of Seattle most tourists would miss.
Although we did have to do a day at the Market!
Seattle is one fantastic city with a great vibe.
We also did a day trip to Mt. Ranier. That was an indescribable experience that I want to come back and do again with my kids when they are old enough.
