WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY - WAYDT (PICS)

Yesterday it was White Night in Melbourne, which is an annual arts event where various bits of the city are illuminated, sculptures and art installations are laid out in public spaces, and there are performances in the streets.
This is Federation Square, which is a large public space. (Or will be a public space until Apple takes over a corner for their new retail store in the next year or two.)
Projections onto buildings. The second photo was from a film talking about refugees in Australia.
It's not a patch on Blackpool Tower!
Sculptures in parks.
The new Melbourne train. There was a silent disco in the carriage, which included the KLF's Last Train to Transcentral. All rail journeys would be improved by having this.

Brisk walk in the 36F, crystal blue sky, sunny day! Started the walk with my hands tucked in the N-1 ended with it slung over my shoulder! That is the Ballard neighbourhood of Seattle with the Olympic mountain range in the distance…
A typical snow pack for this time of year.

@Dishelveled Thank you for the pictures of Ballard! It’s my favourite community in Seattle and I love the view from Sunset Hill.

Awesome, Goose! I love this area too–super quiet and chill, but way close to epic beer, coffee and food (let alone salt water, Green Lake, BlueOwl and <15mins to downtown/Division Road!). Never seen this dead end view point on Phinney Ridge before--aprox 58th and 1st NW, not far from the zoo.
