Godless was amazing.

Currently been sucked into Bates Motel. Mrs loves it. I don’t mind it but it’s a bit teen drama. Lots of eye candy though which is helping me through it.

The Wire is slow at first, especially if you're not used to David Simon's stuff. Stick with it, you'll be rewarded.

The only wife is going away with the smalls next week so I have a few days to binge on Sci-fi. Altered Carbon is top of the list. I’m a big fan of Richard Morgan who wrote the book.

Binge on sci-fi when the wife is away? Yeah right, that's what you'll be binging on. You keep telling yourself that

To be fair on this missus she's tolerant enough of all my viewing habits ( ??? ) and has watched Westworld and GoT with me (and enjoyed them) but AC looks a little too hard-boiled Sci-fi for her.

Seeing as you're a Brit, have you watched Britannia, and did you like it? I have and was pleasantly surprised, although I did feel it ran out of steam towards the end…

Hey Bud. No, not seen Britannia yet, it's on a subscription channel I don't have. Can't wait for Vikings to come back though, on a historical theme.

Anyone watched Loudermilk on Amazon? Just watched the first 3 episodes. I like it. Comedy show about a recovering alcoholic counsellor in Seattle with a backdrop of a love of 80s and 90s music. I recommend it

I liked Ozark a lot. Really looking forward to season 2. It’s dark funny and yeah… you feel something bad will happen and then... well you’ll see.

Ozark is good but I just can't help to be constantly reminded of the blatantly obvious similarities to Breaking Bad as I watch it.  Not necessarily a bad thing in general I guess, but it can turn me off a bit and give the impression it's a bit of a "rip off".  The fact that the show is good helps me get past that though and I will be watching season 2 when it drops.

Have never heard of Godless…just did some Googling and I'm intrigued.  I'm a sucker for good Western themed movies/shows.
