We liked the indigo warp, beige weft so much that we thought we would try it out with black warp to make the new 21oz black selvedge denim. We have a sample in the 634 cut here.

Fabric looks great, jeans look great, still maintain that contrast stitching would look even greater.  Either way it's a whole lot of greatness.

This fabric looks awesome. Most black denim is black x black, which isn't that interesting. A lighter weight version would be great for a work shirt…

I can attest to the fabric being very special. It has all the attributes of the 21oz (soft, heavy with a smooth, even hand) and the added bonus of being a «warm» black that changes hue depending on the light.

If I recall correctly the 888 is coming in this and the OD quite soon.

I certainly hope this black/tan denim will eventually make it to the 666 cut, but I’m hoping it will be a while. I need to pay some bills.
