Our plain black hoodie has just been restocked (sorry no size S).  Measurements have been updated (see below).  I measured at least two of each size, and occasionally there were some fairly substantial variations, so if you are ordering and have a minimum/maximum requirement in any of the dimensions (especially length and arm length) please let us know

what's the benefit of a two-way zipper? I've never seen one in person. Does that kind of turn it into a pullover hoodie since you can't completely unzip it?

You should be able to completely unzip it. thereWhat's nice is that you can zip it all the way to the top and then unzip it at the bottom like the picture below.

In terms of the benefits, its tough for me to exactly describe why I prefer them, but I do….I'm sure that is shit loads of help

You can completely unzip it. The bottom zipper has the same function as the stopper on a regular zipper, but the benefit of also functioning as an upwards opening zip.

They are favoured by Iron Heart because they are useful for bikers when riding (flexibilty and movement), or when wanting to access pockets under the double zippered layer that would otherwise require removing or opening the entire garment.

I unzip the bottom when I'm in the car.  It keeps it from bunching up in your lap or pushing the rest of it up around your chin.

Once you get a two way zipper, you'll want one on all your jackets.

I have been reading that its a fairly simple process to retro-fit as a DIY project or a couple bucks to pay a local tailor/seamstress…

I had our tailor retrofit one for me and she didn't charge much to do the job.  I sourced the zipper myself for about ten bucks, I think.  Totally worth it.
