How much lighter are unlined jackets? Are they comfortable in spring / early summer?
Depends on the thickness of the leather I presume. The Split Street is a “Split Hide” anyways, so it is presumably thinner than the leather used in the J-35 and J-54, but I bet it’s beefier than the thin leathers used on Schott or other jackets.
I think a Suede Cafe is an elegant offering in either the chocolate or brown. It would look great with a smart kit like the new Silk shirts or great over a T-shirt.
Plus, the addition of Zipper chest pockets would make it 1,000x more desirable than the Schott IMHO - jackets deserve pockets to create the right lines.

I am not sure if this has been mentioned on here… buttons. I love your selection but I would love to see a plan brushed brass button, small or large would be fine.

Thanks @Steffen - I am one of the “white jeans enthusiasts” on the forum, so I will no doubt be in the minority, but I would rock the shit out of a white Type 3, and the paraffin coating would make it pretty resistant to dirt etc

Then the jacket is living it’s best life.
I was nine when that kicked off and I remember the coverage of the whole conflict like it was yesterday. It was when I started reading newspapers and my parents let me stay up to watch the 9 o’clock news every night. All honour to your friend. He has great taste too.

would love a pair of chinos with straight slash pockets like this. Subtle detail but for some reason I really like it, maybe because it looks a little more casual than more traditional versions.

About a year ago, a suggestion came up for a photo bag, but unfortunately didn't gain any traction…
What about a camera strap? Perhaps with selvedge ID or duck of some sort... made of leftover material?
Or maybe even some of the nice leather IH sourced leather?
I was thinking a length selection somthing along these lines, but made "flat" in the profile instead of round:

I'd like to see something like the IH-526J-14 modified type III except with a corduroy collar and unlined. I know IH did a lined type III with a cord collar awhile ago but corduroy collars are just so awesome

Cinchless Type II or I in the new black×beige denim. With hand pockets that have tonal stitching.
Rarely see black versions of these, and i think theyd sell better with pockets/no cinch
