As i said - i love type IIs, but think a gest works better on type III. Or maybe in a 101 silhouette to do something new? A vest should have handwarmer pockets though.

The IHM-15 Alpaca-lined N-1 Deck half-coat would be a good candidate (Aesthetically) for wool and/or denim reincarnation.

I can’t find the pic on here, but I know you shared it at some point G, but after wearing the IHJ-35 pretty regularly, I would love to see a version made in natural. Something about that natural color that is so appealing.

My vote would would be with the side hand warmer pockets.

That vintage 18oz is easily the best «mid weight» denim I’ve had from IH or anyone else. I’d consider anything made from it seriously, od’ed or not. I’d love a heavy shacket with it.
