Final update for me!
Well as you've probably heard it snowed here in Texas. Quite unexpected, as the last time it snowed in Austin was 2010. We grabbed some Thai food to warm up.




Yesterday we grabbed coffee and lunch at Sa-Ten, a restaurant/cafe specializing in Japanese comfort food.
First time here, definitely won't be the last. It was quite busy though, they must be doing well as they are already working on a second location.



I wasn't able to grab great pictures of the jeans, but here they are before the wash.




Thanks everyone for following along, I must say I've throughly enjoyed wearing these jeans. Honestly more than I initially expected. I'll admit I've struggled wearing heavy denim in the past (mostly because of the Texas heat, but also with the IH cuts) but now I'm sure I'll buy a pair of 888's sometime in the future. Looking forward to more releases.
If you ever find yourself in Austin, TX just let me know and I'd be more than happy to grab a beer and some food. Or if you just need recommendations for places to eat and stuff to do shoot me a PM!

Jeans received. Fit way better than I thought they would. Quick and dirty pic. It’s my “Friday” night. Which means recliner time for the most part. Going to my parents tomorrow for a Hanukkah dinner and celebration. More fun and fit pics to come.
