Loving the corduroy details, and the fits looking strong on both Sam and Alex.
The product page reads, "Japanese 'Ventile' lining, but later on says, "Quilted satin body and sleeve linings". So I'm wondering if the Ventile lining is sewn internally, like with their deck jacket's wind proof layer?
Interested to check out the water repellent finish too.

Apologies, I think the Ventile reference was a hangover from the IHM-08 that none of us picked up (somehow) yesterday. Trying to do too much in a short afternoon.
The lining is the quilt, as you can see - sorry again for the confusion. -

@Sam the M in this seems to have the same chest measurements as most IH shirts (my usual size in shirts).
Would M be the right size for me in this?

These came up short didn't they? Compared to previous iterations a size M reads 4 inches shorter ??? Maybe a typo?

The measurements are throwing me off too, but the fit pictures provide the proof that they are not as short nor tight as the measurements indicate.
Sam is wearing an IHSH-127 underneath the ihw-13 and the shirt tail is barely exposed (flannel's original length of 28.7"–even with potential shrinkage this gives a viable comparison)
Based on the shoulder, chest and opening measurents I would have gone with a Large-my uhf size, but based on the fit pics I begrudgingly ordered a Medium. I will report back by Weds when it lands.

^ Agreed. It’s the same gig as with the deck jackets. All measurements scream «go with your shirt size» but in reality most people should size down one.

My IH shirt size is 21.6” in the chest, same as this piece which should be a top layer. I’m not even true to size is roomy enough..
Properly confused by the sizing on this one

I don’t claim to understand it, but I suspect it’s a result of the dimensions inbetween the normal measurements being different. Armholes on jackets are larger than armholes in shirts so the P2P measurement on jackets is taken at a place where the body is actually slimmer. @Cole is a nailed on XL in UHF’s and a nailed in L in deck jackets (which he wears over his UHF’s).

That and the arms in XL N1s are far to long for me and I allready got monkey arms.

Doesn’t this have pleats on the back like the other m65 and the riders jackets?
If it has pleats then that accounts for the deceiving measurements. If no pleats than it’s more iron heart magic.

This! But…I d go with my usual shirt size as i ve done it in the IHM-02.
(G does it as well as he is a Large in shirts and would go with a Large in this one as well)
