At least as warm, I would say. I only wore one for a few minutes, but as I said I was comfortably warm with this unzipped over a T in 3degC weather

These came up short didn't they? Compared to previous iterations a size M reads 4 inches shorter  ??? Maybe a typo?

I'd be surprised if it were a typo given they increase as you would expect through the sizes, but I cannot confim until tomorrow. We can also measure @Winchy's M65 to compare.

I would disagree that they come up short, though, as the pictures show.

The measurements are throwing me off too, but the fit pictures provide the proof that they are not as short nor tight as the measurements indicate.

Sam is wearing an IHSH-127 underneath the ihw-13 and the shirt tail is barely exposed (flannel's original length of 28.7"–even with potential shrinkage this gives a viable comparison)

Based on the shoulder, chest and opening measurents I would have gone with a Large-my uhf size, but based on the fit pics I begrudgingly ordered a Medium.  I will report back by Weds when it lands.

How would that work @neph93 ?
My IH shirt size is 21.6” in the chest, same as this piece which should be a top layer. I’m not even true to size is roomy enough..
Properly confused by the sizing on this one ️

I don’t claim to understand it, but I suspect it’s a result of the dimensions inbetween the normal measurements being different. Armholes on jackets are larger than armholes in shirts so the P2P measurement on jackets is taken at a place where the body is actually slimmer. @Cole is a nailed on XL in UHF’s and a nailed in L in deck jackets (which he wears over his UHF’s).

Armholes on jackets are larger than armholes in shirts so the P2P measurement on jackets is taken at a place where the body is actually slimmer. @Cole is a nailed on XL in UHF’s and a nailed in L in deck jackets (which he wears over his UHF’s).

That and the arms in XL N1s are far to long for me and I allready got monkey arms.

This! But…I d go with my usual shirt size as i ve done it in the IHM-02.

(G does it as well as he is a Large in shirts and would go with a Large in this one as well)

I’d actually go with my regular shirt size too, but that’s because I anticipate having to layer quite heavily under it in the coldest part of winter up here.

Could the length and sleeve measurements have been swapped? Seems like it would make more sense the other way around.

….and copped! Don't sleep on these folks, IH heavy / lined jackets are something else..

I went for my usual IH shirt size. Fingers crossed for a good and versatile fit.
Hoping it will handle nicely both a T or an UHF underneath. If it does, I'll be golden.

Really looking forward to seeing more fit pics of this before ordering. Only minor gripe is I wish the throat latch was a snap rather than Velcro.
