Cute doggie. What's that green dot, at the bottom of the pic?
Damn good question now that you mention it…

Sorry I forgot about that.
I'm not sure what it is. I'll be back down that way tomorrow and i'll have a look.
The photo was taken on my iPhone, so may be some sort of 'Glitch'?

The green dot seems to be a reflection of the sun, lens flare.
Great thread which I wasn't aware until now. Went a couple pages back…so cute and awesome! I love animals it is so rewarding being around them.
May I introduce, this is Sakima my almost 8 years old Siberian Husky. Can't believe that he get in February 8 years old, time fly's like crazy. I'll try to do my best in holding him species appropriate, therefore we spent a great amount of time in the Alps and Scandinavia, at all seasons.
A selection from the Alps
I apologise for the amount of pictures…I know I got carried away!

Thanks! @Matty123, @JDelage and @sabergirl!
Yes, we had really wonderful moments and hopefully there a plenty more to come! He is very balanced and has a very calm and kind character, in short he is for me the perfect companion, needles to say that I love him to death!

Holy cow @marlin - epic post!
And I’m jealous that you have a calm, obedient pup in your family… I just have this 7 year old ball of chaos and a blind geriatric at home...

Another set from Scandinavia, I especially love Lapland!
Just for the record, he is just for the pictures of leash. Since in lapland are loads of wildlive he is 99% of the time on leash. Huskys are fanatic hunters!!!
In his backpack he carries the food for about 12 days. In the alps he always carries the water, which is so helpful, they have so much energy anyways.
1. has was watching some musk ox from the distance.
4. the vegetation was so thick that it was easier to wade through the water
6. some dog and master romantic
11. a little lunch time nap
