I jonesing one of these, could be useful on the bike when you don't need to carry a lot….
-
I think that Stormfront is a very unfortunate choice of branding by Patagonia.

They look great @Giles, I'll look into one. As you say, could be perfect for when I'm not carrying much.
Ps….. What's 'jonesing'??

Ironic that it comes in black, but not white.

Carryology and Topo Designs have collaborated on a tweaked Klettersack. It's made from X-Pac, no doubt to save weight, and then fitted with a pair of (heavy) Cobra buckles.
There's a piece about it on the Carryology site, and you can pick it up from Topo.
The only fly in the ointment is the price: $349. That's about twice what a regular Klettersack will set you back. :o

Start a new job Monday which means I need a new backpack right? I’ve been searching for a wax cotton and leather roll top for a while.
Found Winter Session. Made in Denver Colorado. It’s going to get some good use
After some Obenauf’s LP

looks good to me, but I'm a bag-whore so I think I'm biased
You and me both. I've been a bag-whore since earning my Koolaid man hip bag with Koolaid points back in the 80s. However, I've slowed down because I can't stand owning too much stuff (my bags are already stored like Babushka dolls). I'm actually culling the herd right now…

Imo would look better with some of the Bagjack pouches, the HNTR pouch springs to mind but only because of the colour. Aoku also do some cool looking ones that are of a similar aesthetic.

I notice that a lot of traditionally "tactical" brands are moving towards not using MOLLE on their packs to avoid the mall ninja look. I think people in that space are really tired of the MOLLE look. I personally don't own anything with visible MOLLE except my chest rig and plate carrier.
"Nice backpack, what do you do for a living?"
"I'm a travel agent, but it's high speed low drag" -
Liking the look of this, not that I need another bag mind.
