If you go with cord, any thoughts on lining the cuffs too? I’ve seen pics of that detail but never owned a jacket with cord lined cuffs, but the esthetic is interesting.

I like the idea of lining the cuffs with cord as well.

Have you ever considered a Wrangler style denim/other jacket? I like the lee 101J style but the wrangler equivalent of a type III was pretty awesome.  Similar to this.

Norwegian wool. Same as Indigofera use on their blankets.
