IH-888-NT - 21/23oz indigo Selvedge DWC Jeans

The 888NT got me back into IH after I've almost given up on the brand due to my thigh measurements after gaining a good 6 KGs. My thanks to Gav @Megatron1505 , @Giles and the Stubborn crew for making it happen.
I received my pair yesterday, it's a beast as expected. The pre-soak fit was promising. I've soaked and washed it but have yet to tried it on post shrink. Can't wait till I get home tonight to see how it fits now! Happy to have IH denim back on my legs soon, it's been a while..

Leather patch really got hard after the wash and soak. I did some treatment twice already

Just got my jeans back from hemming and they botched it and took it up to a 28" even though I have it written to hem to 32". So I guess these are now a wash and unwearable. Bummer. I can't even re-order another pair because my size is sold out.

What about the non contest patch 21/23 jeans? Is your size available there?

Edit: The guy just called me back and said he would comp me a pair and LUCKILY there are some 36s still available in the 21/23 UHR. He's talking to his connect at Mildblend now and I just hope that I can get them with the same smaller waist 36 measurements that IH was able to find for me.

One pair of my largest needle-nosed pliers and two deeply bruised thumbs later, I finally got all five buttons done up. So glad I didn’t try to go with a large 38 over this slightly small 40. I had my doubts about the rise and thighs but everything seems great so far. Looking forward to seeing them in the daylight tomorrow.

I’m Really sorry to hear that. If at all possible you should have him buy you the comped pair from IH UK. That way you can have the patch swapped and get the best hemming job taboot.
