I haven't worn it yet - apart from the occasional "Trying it on in the privacy of me own bedroom" bit… Told myself I can start wearing it once I go under 75kgs... I'm now at 75.8 (was 79.9 four weeks back)...

Quite the motivational bit of garment I'd say!..  😎

The old waffle knit thermal is probably my most worn iron heart item ever. I can say that neck opening is the exact same size as the old one and stretches out when you break it in. This new one is much heavier, bulkier, softer, and more warm.

I have an IH henley, and I always wear it unbuttoned. Never tried the regular crew neck, but the holes look too tight for me. (I know, I know, no such thing—insert vulgar joke here. Yes, I said insert.)

It was 44 degrees when I left to go riding this AM,and had mine on underneath my jacket. Kept me nice and toasty warm.

I feel like the measurements are wrong atm (e.g. opening & sleeve), no?

I have one of each (v1 in XL and v2 in M) and they conform to measurements with the usual variations. My v2 came up longer than published, (which meant it was perfect).

I was talking about the v2: the opening measurements on sizes M, L & XL are bigger than on the XXL. I was just wondering.

Ah yes, that does progress strangely. Perhaps a mistake on that one measurement…

This sweater is overall incredible, so warm and comfy. G, how do you like the idea of additional colours? Maybe olive, blue, white (+ indigo dipped)?

Indigo dipped I can do without, but olive and white (and burgundy, and purple, and navy) would all be great. It is a superior garment in every way to any sweater/long sleeved top I’ve ever owned. I know the economics of scale don’t allow for lots of colours but I thought I’d say it.
