Just to say that if you're a fan of this denim, and want to try out the 888 cut, this is a very special pair of jeans and not to be missed👖.

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

It is!  The general consensus has been that this fabric will be too warm for me in Phx…I also absolutely do NOT need another pair of Indigo heavyweight denim...but damn it looks like an awesome fabric that will never be made again and it's in the 888 cut.

suck it up, rock some high-ish cuffs, it's like air conditioning

Mate, I just said to Chris on another thread that he needs to move to Canada to wear UHR. It's a simple solution to a "sticky" problem, why make things more complicated than they need to be?  😃

That is the obvious solution isn't it…

I want to wait to see if I can snag a left over NT version..

Is any one willing to advise the likelihood of that happening?

                      Correct.  One extra button.

I wore my UHRS  in both a desert and tropical environment and I didn't think they were too bad. They get that same soft hand like 25 oz denim does after a couple months. Rough at first. Like a girl's bum after a few months. Soft as a kitten. I didn't think they were too bad in plus 90 degree heat. But I work in hot environments, like 130 plus. So my opinion could be askew.

Thanks for the input man.  I'm almost certain I am going to bend and will end up copping these anyways.

I too can confirm the UHR is wearable during summer, I mean it's cotton after all and not plastic. It softens up after soaking/washing and it is definitely enjoybale in warmer months.

Do any of you that have experience with UHR know if the thighs will shrink at all?  The description says the waist and inseam will shrink, but nothing about the thighs.

All measurements will shrink in proportion the each other in the same direction:
All vertical measurements will shrink at the same ratio as the inseam shrinkage.
All horizontal measurements will shrink at the same ratio as the waist shrinkage

What tag size are you looking at?

OK, well an inch of 33.5 is around 3% so you are likely to get the thigh down to around 12.7'' assuming that you got the full inch at the waist.

This is not an exact science though I am afraid, so your results may be different…
