So, if the 35 measurements look perfect (pre-shrink) I need to go for a 36? Now I'm confused again

The main shrink will be in the waist, the waist will stretch an inch with wear, so if you can squeeze into a, for example, 34.5'' waist to start with after a soak it will stretch to perfect with a few wears

How much shrink/stretch will one experience in the thigh? The most important requirement for me is a 13,7 inch thigh. Maybe the safest thing for me is to ask for the sized 36 pair with the smallest waist and largest thighs.

This was our shrink test. Please note though that this was machine washed not soaked and spun to try and force the max likely shrinkage out. Spinning is not recommended and your shrinkage will likely be a little less than thus

@alex like other IH denim , the  waist stretch 1 inch after wear . Does same apply with this denim ?

Yes exactly. Although it may take longer than other denim you have from us as it is very heavy duty

FYI these are crazy consistent. The two pairs of each Matt and I measured barely had any differences

Only if you wash at 40 and spin at 400- which we would not recommend, I think you should have more room at the thigh than 12.7 after a soak if you follow the usual UHR care guidelines

The measurement threw off my original size of 38.
If I wanted waist of 39 after all the shrinkage .
Do I go with 40 or 38?
