Italy didn't qualify for the world cup….this makes me all warm and tingly inside.

And neither did the US for that matter, which I'm not happy about but not nearly as big of an upset as the Azzurri not making it.

I'm sad that neither of those teams made it through. I love the energy that the US fans bring, and I like to see a strong Italian side at major tournaments as they always do well against Ze Germans 

England have less than zero chance at the tournament, I don't think there are 4 international teams in the world we're capable of beating  ::)

Indeed! Italy is one of the heavy hitters at any major tournament and it's sad not to see them next year. It's also a shame to see the legend Buffon to step down this way.
