I experienced the usual delays at Heathrow and will arrive in Portsmouth a bit after 19:00. This means I'll be available to eat something a bit before 20:00. Is anybody planning to still be in a restaurant at this time? If so, please let me know.

A little more info about tomorrow’s Kanreki open afternoon at IHUKHQ:

we’ll be open and looking forward to welcoming you from 12:00 (and will close promptly at 16:00 so that everyone can go and get ready for the BIG party)

we’re sure some of you will want an up close and personal look at some IH gear and to try stuff on - we’d ask you to grab a member of the IHUK team (Alex, Adam, Matt, Sam, Giles – whoever is free) and they’ll pick the items for you and look after you (but we ask you not to pick stuff off the shelves or hanging rails yourselves, pretty please)

we’ve got plenty of soft drinks, beers and snacks, if you want tea or coffee we’d ask you please to give the Pump House café your custom (opposite our workshop and run by our friend Heather)

I just need to know if there is a designated "anti-social" safe space in a corner somewhere, so non-chatty and less photogenic partygoers have a place to sit around and "pretend" to be more cool than everyone else in order to avoid inevitably awkward interactions?
Asking for a friend…..

We'll still be in England for a while… I'm sure the next trip to Gosport will be easier after breaking the ice this time.
*I'm REALLY starting to feel sick guys... No fever, but my sinuses are draining like crazy, and my throat is slightly achy. Really, REALLY hoping it's just allergies, otherwise, I'll need quarantine at the shindig

Giles and I bumped into @Megatron1505 as we left the Brewery last night, he was just arriving (too late for beer, sadly) and his first words to me were "I'm so sorry!" Not sure what he was apologising for, but presumably already planning to misbehave…?!
