House work. Drop ceiling metal and surrounding wood for it above stairs are gone.
Also think we would be replacing the kitchen floor, whatever lay under the linoleum. Thought it was going to be a mess…..We found this....

Nice to see hardwood, but I hope you're wearing a mask, goggles, long sleeves, and gloves to rip up what looks like asbestos tile! We discovered a fair amount of that when we renovated my apartment, and ended up leaving some of it, its such bitch to remove.

The floor Rips right up easily. We wanted to see a small section so we can plan ahead. Just going to sand, treat and seal it. Less work and money than expected.
I wear cutoff sleeve tees with my jeans. I use my nitrile dipped work gloves form ansell or maxiflex for a lot of work. Only time I use a mask is with extreme dusts and my chemical mask when using MEK or acetone along with my neoprene gauntlet gloves. That MEK Stuff is no joke. Acetone don't make me choke but MEK makes me gag and burns when you inhale it.
While weekend will be full of housework starting later today.
Just got done photographing a local football team, individuals and seniors for their banners. Did another team yesterday, have another school media day(all their sports for fall) photos next week as well. I love team and individuals, brings in good money and not a lot of work compared to studio portraits.
Setup for the senior banners. Only time I use a plain background to make cutting them out to impose them on a digital background for what everyone around here knows is my look. Happy everyone sees my work and knows it's mine.

Met with Twin today in NYC. We went down to Selfedge,then to Mighty Quinns BBQ for lunch,then onto Twin's favorite market,where Twin bought Kielbasa,ham and some other things. After that we walked through the Union Square Market and over to that Highline elevated park where we had ice cream sandwiches,and headed back to the Port Authority. All in all an excellent adventure for Twin and Jett. Twin took most of the pictures. Theses are a few that I took.
