Now if you wouldn't mind going up the Shard and taking a 360 degrees photo? It would save me the trip  😉

              Loving the photos so far!

Thank you all. Yes, we went inside st. Pauls, its lovely and reminded us a lot of st. Peter in rome. The tate gallery was fantastic too, way too much for just one day.

^ I enjoy being a tourist in London far more than I enjoyed the two years I lived there.

Yesterday was the last day of my holiday in south western Norway. Went out on a boat for a late night fish. Beautiful evening and some decent fishing. Scored a couple of small redfish, a smallish cod, they all went back. Then got two saight (pictured) and a mackerel. The saight got cut into cutlets, boiled and eaten on flatbread with butter, black pepper and parsley. The mackerel got baked with ginger and lime. Back to the grind tomorrow [emoji29]

I think we would call those Saithe or Pollock.  I'm off to Looe in Cornwall this weekend to try and bag a few….

They are called Sei in Norway. But, yes I've seen both Saithe or Seight in English. As far as I can tell Pollock are a close relation as are Coley.

Been thinking about where to take you fishing btw…

                                From Wiki:

Saithe or Pollachius virens, is a species of marine fish in the Pollachius genus. Together with Pollachius pollachius it is generally referred to in the U.S. as pollock. Other names include the Boston blue (separate from bluefish), coalfish/coley, and saithe in the UK.

So I think in the UK we would actually call it coley or coalfish.  I'll be fishing for Pollachius pollachius this coming week end…

Fishing in Saltraumen, which you can see from my house, I've seen people bring up Sei over a meter long and weighing over 10kg. Not very attractive when cooked, but tastes great.

Our next stop was Bath. Very impressive roman baths, a nice georgian town & good food. Just the right intermezzo between London and the countryside.
