IH-634-XHSod - Overdyed Indigo 25oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut

Okay, so I need some feedback on the fit. I have been wearing only 666 cuts from IH and these feel super roomy on my skinny legs compared to 666. Although I like the looks and I guess that's how they are supposed to fit? I'm little bit worried about stretch since the top block feels almost too comfortable and I think I could squeeze in to one inch smaller size. Should these feel tight in the top block or is loose the way to go?
To be honest, I didn't expect the 25oz to feel this comfortable. It's really smooth and soft, maybe not so breathable. I had no problems buttoning it up. It took half an our to button up my 666-UHR and I haven't dared to open the two bottom buttons since

The softness of the denim is probably a result of the overdying. Indigo XHS is not soft at all at the start.
I think it's a decent fit. The 634 is a roomier cut than the 666. How is the waistband? If it's tight now at the start then that is the right size. If it is comfortable in the beginning then size down because there will be stretch.

@funkboss they look dead perfect. Everyone has third own taste, some like skinny, some like baggy. I used to do skinny jeans years ago. Once I got into raw denim, that was done…ha. I now prefer straight or straight with a taper. I prefer a tailored look if you will, just nicely outlining a person's lower "figure". Also having the perfect space in all areas, or slightly more, is nice for me in hot weather, little more air, not so much as sweaty....so I can wear my IH longer.
Like I said, in my eyes, spot on. This fabric is amazing, I can't imagine how rough the reg 25 is....holy....

One bonus I noticed since I am going slightly bigger even with my IH, front pocket room….easier to access mostly. Some of the jeans I have sold could barely get in em....ha.

Fit Looks great - I would not size up unless they feel really loose.

Haraki won't do either. I tried to drum up retailer interest for a rerun of the 634 and a new run of the 666 and got feck all interest…..

When you say your waist size is 32 do you mean your actual measured waist or the tag size you normally take?
Either way measure a well used pair that fit you how you like in the waist. Use the IH way of measuring. Buy a pair that actually measure about an inch less than that measurement when new.

The actual waist on your last pair was 32.1'' @ionlybuy18ozplus, that denim we expect to shrink 0.7-1'' with a soak, so I would suggest looking for an actual waist of 31.1-31.4'' for this cut.

@funkboss that fit looks great to me. As others have stated its all about personal preference in how you want them to fit but I would not size down. I like my jeans to be comfortable right out of the bag and I dont employ the size down and stretch them 1-2" philosophy. That's too painful for me. Also, jeans will not stretch any further in the waist f there is nothing to stretch them so it's not like you will stretch the waist to the point that they will be falling off your ass.

I've been wearing 2 of my Iron heart pronto collab on alternate days and i don't think the waist gets stretched that much, except after a couple of beers and bbq in the weekend

Thank you all for your comments. I got the 33's today and for me the fit is just perfect. Like you said, it's all about personal preference and I like jeans to be quite fitted in the top.
Unfortunately it's too hot to wear these now even here in Finland but these will get some beating right after summer. I'll post some proper fit and evo pics then.
I'm returning the other pair so there will be a pair of size 34 back in stock soon
