Exactly, but if they don't take many, then I have to take the balance of the minimum run of 60.  On a jacket that I have got 7 expressions of interest and grand total of 2 jackets ordered from retailers, I'd be pretty feckin crazy to go ahead.  I'm not saying I won't, but it's anything but a done deal….

Also sorry/disappointed to hear that. Maybe the Lee jackets aren't as well known or appreciated as much as their Levis counterparts.

I always thought work jackets sell even poorer. Nothing worng with Lee jackets, nor black jackets. Just make sure that Nate wears it in and posts some fitpics- everybody will want one then, I'm sure!

Did the retailers give any reason as to why they weren't interested? Curious if it was the color or the style or both.

Selfishly, I want you to make the jacket…but I'd feel terrible if a lot of folks on here said "make it!" and didn't order, as has happened in the past (tho I'd pay for it right now if need be...)

So I completely understand you not making it if the demand isn't there - maybe do it in a less special black denim or Overdye some of the indigo ones?

Other then the hardware, what is the difference with the IH-9526J Type3?

It's a different type of jacket.  The IH-526J is based on a Levi's Type III.  The IH-101J-BLK is a based on a Lee 101J.

The denim is a selvedge superblack on the IH-101J-BLK, it is not selvedge on the IH-9526J
