Converse

Slightly higher rubber wall, Black label back heel, the extra stitching where the material is near the rubber to and full rubber sole. Def a better shoe than the reg Chuck Taylor.
I actually live the blue denim so much I just got in two more pairs for once this pair dies. Haha

I like. Are those a UK only release? -
Excited, I grabbed a new release of the 70. I have been wanting s low top version of this awesome shoe, finally a colorway I love. They just dropped a few new colors for summer for highs and lows

The midnight navy is pretty boss

@Jordonf9 can you point me in the direction of these new releases of the 70's? I went to the website but I'm not seeing these for some reason.
-
I kid of agree with you @Finkster but look how good the new lows look with the OD
More of a plum, love them! Might get white/offwgite laces though :p

^ they look lovely. This may be weird but at the age of 43, I've never owned a pair of Converse…
The 70s are worth tracking down, great quality and pretty comfortable. Picked up the denim ones for £30 from cruise recently.
All the other cons that I have tried on have been uncomfortable as fuck!

Mr. Hound! Hope you're well, dude. Are the 70's a vintage style model? I have zero knowledge about these things…

Busy as fuck old boy…... aaarrrrrghh!
As I understand it the 70s have a thicker sole (more comfortable), higher rubber foxing (basically the rubber lip around top of sole is higher - which looks better imo), quality of stitching is better.
These are the denim ones.....

I went with a pair of 70's. Got to say they are much more comfortable than the standard Chucks.

The 70's are just an overall higher quality pair of Converse. Better materials and better construction. Everything from the canvas to the laces to the eyelets are thicker and more durable. Also much more cushioning and much more comfortable than a "normal" pair of Chucks as stated above.
You should definitely try them out, especially considering you've never owned a pair of Chucks.
