It's the new "chin warmer" rise we've been working on for people specifically with a 35 waist  😃

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

I'm completely chuffed that both the DWC is taking place again, and that these pair of jeans exist… But I think I'm gonna be a bit of a Debby downer and just get the less threatening 21oz'es... Too old for this shit...

However, I can't wait for evo pics!..

The difference in rise reduces as the tag size gets larger, we tried to normalise the rise over the size range…

              Larger thigh
More taper from the knee to the cuff - large guys don't necessarily wear boats (yes boats)

              Loads of constructional differences....

ok, thanks… er what are boats and why dont i wear them??

Or if 13 like me, gunboats.

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them…

@steelworker I'm a size 14, and my father said my shoes came from Vickers in Barrow-in-Furness. 😉

The 888s look really nice, and I really like my 1955 UHRs. Not being Indonesian, I find them a bit warm to wear in the summer months.

Pretty tempted by these, just not sure how much they're get worn down here in Texas.
I've got two other pairs of IH jeans and it's just usually too hot to wear them.
Going to think on it a bit.

Thanks @Giles and the Stubborn Crew for constantly backing the contests.  The extra effort on top of a discounted pair doesn't go unnoticed.  It's how I was introduced to this craziness and I look forward to wearing this pair more than the last.

Hopefully they'll get a bit more shrinkage with a hot soak (being in between 34/35 with my thighs is so annoying).

888's look like a good build for me, too @Graeme . I have the 55 UHR too and I love 'em. I too have switched to much lighter Roy's & Flathead for a couple of months ??? ??? Going to have to decide what size works best when I get to the custom Westc'os. I have to take 5 min to find a way to dump spellcheck

I only fell in love with the UHR denim after it was supposedly discontinued, so I'm unfamiliar with it. Can anyone who has worn it before comment on if the thighs will stretch back out again? Currently, the way a 32 looks fully stretched is absolutely perfect in every way except for the thighs, for which the 33's measurements are ideal for me.

Or, when the time comes, would the IH staff be courteous enough to find me the 32" pair with the largest thigh measurements? Thanks
