The veg is Wesco's toughest leather to break in. You're probably already feeling how stiff it is. It softens to a great buttery glove like goodness with some persistence though.

Really depends on how often you can wear them, what the style is, etc Can I ask where they're hurting?

            it's the boss

i'll try to wear them daily

over the middle of my foot on the vamp area. it's tight and cuts off circulation if i'm standing still.

think cold water treatment would hurt them? That is put them on, stand in a bucket for about five minutes, then walk them dry…

Ok my Jobmasters felt very similar but gave after a couple weeks. Mine still squeak and creek after a year plus despite being completely comfortable

Ultimately it's your boot. I'd avoid soaking them since it's veg and likely going to stretch more than you'd hope. My Warrens I had to take a hammer to in order to burnish down a seam that was biting my foot. So I can empathize with what you're feeling, but from experience would say wear a couple weeks and see if they ease up before getting crazy

Take the insole out, wear thin socks then wear them lots. You should be good in a week or two.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to take the insole out.

This is definitely the thickest leather for a boot I've ever had.

I have have a pair of them all too. Role club, Lofgren, whites,  etc.

                    Very impressed by these wescos

They are lovely. I have a new pair of boss in the pipeline. Only a couple of weeks to go…

Any word on these yet neph? I'm curious to see the differences in our builds

I have them, but there are a couple of build issues I am not happy about.  I'm sending them back to Chris for him to look at…..

That's unfortunate! Even the best of us have something slip by though. Hopefully they can square it up quickly

Yes, they're a little delayed. I've seen pics though and despite the issues I'm very pleased, so waiting a little longer will be totally worth it. Look forward to loads of postings when they are in my hands.

                                Yours are looking beautiful [emoji7]
