thx @Appfaff I had now 3 days to test it and I fecking love it…
keeps me warm with just a tee, the action bi-swing let you move without any fabric restrictions, the knitted cuff, waistband and collar are super soft, fabrics and construction top of the line as always.... and it looks cool, so what else could someone ask for...
will def going to see a LOT of wear....

These are chronically underrated. I have the earlier version (39?) which I admittedly got on special, but I swear if more people could see these IRL then they'd be a standard favourite.
It's not the flashiest bit of IH kit but the combination of materials and hardware is very, very special. It's also really versatile like a mid weight jacket should be and the cut, while functional is actually very sharp too.

If this was a bomber I would be hard pressed to not get it, but I personally don't really like the longer collar on the tankers

Bumping a 7+ year old thread to show off this amazing jacket I just got my hands on. Unworn and presumably stored away for years before getting to me today. Those arm creases are from just a day of my wear - I genuinely don’t think this was worn before by the seller!
So much to love about this piece that I didn’t even know I needed until it came up in my eBay feed.
The wool body lining, satin arm lining, the heavy YKK zipper and the knitted cuffs / collar are all really nice - stoked to find a “vintage” IH piece like this

@GuyForget Whew talk about necro! Nice pull.
Good jacket too, man. That's a pretty amazing find! The reason I'm here though is for that shirt underneath! Is it the SDA 13oz Kakishibu? I've had my eye on that whole lineup (the 13 and 16oz pieces) for a while now. Love it.
