We know you love IH, but where do you think we can improve?

I think all the chinos should have a waistband coin pocket.

As someone else already suggested in another threat a hip measurement (a la rivet & hide) for all bottoms would be extremely helpful. One could get an idea of how tight or loose the entire topblock will feel.

That would be cool!
Also, i would love to have reinforcing tape in the front pockets (like in the 666s) in all my IH-Pants. I somehow manage that i always destroy my front pockets pretty early…

What about 1-1.5" longer body lengths on tees? I love my IH tees but a little short for what I and I'm sure a lot of taller guys prefer.

For every single T-Shirt we sell in the West, I would conservatively estimate we sell 25 in Japan and Thailand, where they like them the length they are. If we did increase the length by an inch or two, we'd probably destroy demand in Japan and Thailand but we'd probably only sell 2 or 3 times as many as we currently do in the West. As a company we are not large enough to make multiple versions of the same T-shirt, so it ain't happening. Sorry

Those blank 2014 7.5oz tees are feckin perfect.

Great news for me

How about increasing the length of the sweatshirts then. I can't imagine a large market for heavy sweatshirts in Thailand.

My heigth is 185cm, quite average I think, from my point of view the length of both the IH T-Shirts and the Sweat Shirts/Hoodies is pretty perfect…
The fit is both dependent on your height and the size you wear. If you are 185cm and wear an XL then you won't have any problems with the length. But if you're 180cm and wear a M (like me) then the sweatshirts are a bit short.

I've weighed in with this point in this kind of discussion before, and I need to stop it because it's exhausting. God only knows how Giles must feel [emoji28]
IH are not in the business if individual tailoring. Some things fit some people well, others not. They are designed and cut the way they are, I assume according to Haraki-san's wishes and specs and with an eye on making something that works for as many people as possible.
There have been occasions when things have been altered. T-shirt length a few years ago, sleeve length on UHF's last year. I'm guessing in each case some people bought more of each item, but some people bought less.
The clothing retailers job is to hit a sweet spot pleasing as many as possible. But given the variety in body shapes and taste, there will always be some people whom measurements don't work for. It's a necessary compromise and if you loose out as a result (as I did with the UHF's) then that's life.

Having a memory like a goldfish, is it possible to put the 'Model No.' of the shirt on one of the inside labels?
