This was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had, which is almost blasphemous for me to say considering I live in Texas and this was Carolina style barbecue. ::)

As a North Carolinian resident alien in Texas, I feel comfortable reassuring you that you're ok liking both.  While they're both BBQ, that's really name only.  Kinda like lambics and imperial stouts are both beers.

What's blasphemous is the thought that you can get quality Carolina pulled pork 'cue in Louisiana.

Great update Broark! N. Orleans has always been top of my list of cities to visit in the US after reading too much Poppy Z. Brite as a teenager. This update hasn't helped [emoji28]

Thanks for the kind words everyone, New Orleans has become one of my favorite cities in the states. We went last year and enjoyed it so much that we had to come back.
I still feel like I've betrayed Texas somehow by enjoying Carolina barbecue though.

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updates. I've been working 6 days a week lately and haven't had much time off to do anything interesting enough to photograph.

Just in from the mail. Surprisingly I'm still able to squeeze into them. The tour has left its mark on them from what I remember them looking like. They look absolutely beautiful. The denim timeshare is so nice. Thanks again to G for sponsorship. These jeans have traveled way more than me. Ha.

Today went to our little Italy farmers market.

Got the 666II on with a few other IH items.

Started with a sculpin.

Then a cold brew.

Had to pick up some salami. Grabbed the dude and el guapo.

What's meat w/o cheese

And because I love almonds. (Mexican chocolate so delicious)

Raw oysters and live uni

Great day to walk and people watch!
