      Damn…..Any idea how much for?

Terms weren't disclosed, as I'm sure they don't want to advertise the going rate for a soul.

Though I'll admit, I'll still drink their beer if I see something that looks good.  I still drink Goose Island and Karbach, after all…

The beer is great. The cup cost me 30€. So unless you're exceedingly mad, or Belgian, or both (like me), I wouldn't actually recommend it… It doesn't even hold 33cls!..  😢

Couple of stouts to round off last night.

This was an OK effort at a dessert stout, made with cocoa nibs and espresso. Had a thin, acidic base though. Came off a bit unbalanced:

This was fantastic. They used Saison yeast to give it a twist. Worked brilliantly. Get some if you can:

I'll be keeping eyes peeled for that  ???

I'm considering launching a "get to know traditional German beer" project, because I know little about it but more clearly as an excuse to buy more beer. This is what the monopoly has available from Germany… https://www.vinmonopolet.no/Nettbutikk-kategorier/%C3%98l/c/%C3%B8l?q=%3Arelevance%3AmainCategory%3A%C3%B8l%3AvisibleInSearch%3Atrue%3AmainCountry%3Atyskland&searchType=product

Any tips on where to start or is it all crap?  :o

                                            Definitely the Aventinus!!! @neph93

This following two dark beers are worth to compare. Very different.
                                            https://www.vinmonopolet.no/vmpSite/Land/Tyskland/Kloster-Scheyern-Doppelbock-Dunkel/p/3799502

One of the best Schneider. Tap7 Weisse.

Kellerbier. Perfect summer beer. Drink it cold.

Another kind of style is Kölsch. Top-fermentation filtered ale. Here a good one direct from cologne. Perhaps you need more than one, to get the special taste.  😉

If you need tro try a Pils, this is a better one. Big brewery, but ambitious to get back to the roots.
