This was very tasty. Too tasty for 12.5ABV.

Think I decided picking that up earlier this month but couldn't tell you why…  😢

Three year old Christmas Ale?.. On an April Saturday afternoon at 3.30pm?.. (It's really nice though!!!)

Yesterday I started with a 2012 Aventinus Tap 6. Exquisite.

Then a whiskey infused Cuvée van de Keizer 2015 - think I prefer the regular version…

Went shopping, highlights: Rosé de Gambrinus, Tilquin (Geuze)², Ranke Vieille Provision, 3F Cuvée Gaston & Armand.

Chestnut Brew Works Halleck IPA. Pretty much only found in West Virginia but it may be the best IPA I've had to date. Hoppy but balanced, smooth and creamy, with a clean finish. I bought a growler but wished they had bottles in stock to take back to St Louis.

Surprisingly refined and elegant. I don't much bother with anything under 7% anymore but this came recommended. Really rather good.

Solid. Also it's a 600ml bottle. Has to be the perfect size.
