where do you guys who live in the states send your IH jeans to get hemmed?  Railcar?  SelfEdge?  any other options?  I've never had a pair hemmed before but I've got a few pairs that need it.

I like to use Blue in Green. Very fast and they have always done a good job.

I'm located on the east coast, so maybe that's why I get them done and back so fast. I'm hesitant to use anyone else now due to having to wait.

                Thanks for the input @yinzer.

my main concern is that I want the thread color to match the original IH thread.  It may sound like a silly detail but it's important to me.

Where do you keep your phone? I've always had it in my back pocket, but the damn things are getting bigger each year and won't fit anymore..

I didn't get a new phone for years, but when I did last year I was shocked by how big they got. My FC Type II is the only jacket with pockets big enough to fit the phone and be buttoned up. I also find the inner pockets of the IH Type IIIs and the SH 105 very useful. But I don't have an alternative for the backpockets when I just wear a T-Shirt.

@Giles ( and anyone else who cares to Chime in) Has IH ever considered making a broken twill denim? I've always liked the look. I have an old  non-selvedge broken twill denim jacket that I keep Around for posterity. In my 40 years of wearing jeans. I have uknowingly purchased a few pair of broken twill jeans and They've been some of  My favorites. Just wanted your thoughts.

                        Maybe so. Maybe not

I try not to mention it that often. 😉

Heavyweight broken twill hasn't ever been done, to my knowledge. Iron Heart territory for innovation. I would love to have some in a nice tapered cut–maybe the new one with the roomy thighs!

Natural indigo warp, sexy-soft IH 21 oz weft. Kind of like double indigo. But the natural indigo weft so the fabric doesn't appear purple in sunlight.

@Giles what is the preferred cut of the man himself, Mr. H San?

                                      I assume your's is the 666?

                                      Just curious.

No plans.  We have enough denim to run another 360 jeans, but sales of the UHR and SR really slowed down, so I'm not sure what we will do with the fabric….
